RCS Athletic Booster Club Scholarship Information & Guidelines

The Rosehill Christian School Athletic Booster Club exists to promote all athletic programs at Rosehill Christian School through funding and promotion of school spirit. The RCS Athletic Booster Club also strives to encourage, support, and promote the academic endeavors of the RCS student-athletes. 

The RCS Athletic Booster Club is excited to announce the 1st Annual Scholarship for two of the RCS Class of 2026 student-athletes. One female and one male student athlete will each receive $1,500 to help with expenses in their continuing education journey. 


Applications will be available on January 8, 2026


Each year The Rosehill Christian Athletic Booster Club will award scholarships to graduating seniors who have participated in Rosehill Christian Athletic Programs and whose families have been actively involved in the RCS Booster Club. The application process will begin in the Spring semester of the graduation class with the deadline established by the RCS Athletic Booster Club Board. The RCS Athletic Booster Club scholarship is awarded to graduating seniors to help them in their continuing education journey. 

Eligibility & Qualifications

  • The applicant must be a RCS Senior who is scheduled to graduate in the Spring of the current school year and must plan to enroll in the summer or fall semester of an institution of higher learning (college, university, trade, vocational, or technical school).

    1. The applicant must have participated in at least one varsity level athletic program, as player, manager, or trainer at RCS.

    2. The applicant must be in good standing with the RCS Athletic Department

    3. The applicant must be in good standing with Rosehill Christian School

    4. The applicant must have a minimum of an 80 cumulative GPA (100 point scale)

    5. The applicant’s immediate family must be a current & active member of the RCS Athletic Booster Club, prior to the established scholarship deadline.

    6. The applicant must have a total of 10 documented RCS Athletic Department family volunteer hours completed by April 1, 2026, including but not limited to: 

      • Serving as a board or  committee member

      • Assisting in the sale of programs and promotional and other items at home games

      • Assisting with RCS athletic events such as admissions, concessions, scorebook, etc.

      • Family members must sign up through our volunteer links on the RCS Athletic Booster Club website. 

    7. The applicant must submit the Scholarship Application in full prior to or by the established deadline.  No late submissions will be considered for the scholarship. 

    8. A copy of the applicant's unofficial transcript must accompany the application.

    9. The applicant must submit 1 coach recommendation and 1 teacher/administrator recommendation with the application. An email will be sent to the coach/teacher with a link to the recommendation form. 

    10. Applicants that receive a full-ride scholarship are ineligible for the RCS Athletic Booster Club scholarship.  

Policies & Procedures

  • The RCS Athletic Booster Club President will notify the applicants by email to let them know that their application has been received. 

    1. The RCS Athletic Booster Club Board will work with the RCS Athletic Director and the RCS administration to ensure all eligibility and qualifications are met. 

    2. All RCS Athletic Booster Club Scholarships will be awarded by random draw and notified by email. The scholarships will be awarded at the RCS Athletic Spring Banquet. 

    3. A total of 2 scholarships will be awarded.  One to a female athlete and one to a male athlete. 

    4. Each scholarship will be $1,500. The scholarship check will be made payable to the applicant.
